Our board members bring a wealth of knowledge, industry experience, and visionary leadership to BioCircuit. Together, they guide our mission to innovate and improve patient outcomes.
Mr. O’Brien serves as Board Chair for BioCircuit. He was President and CEO of Axion Biosystems for over 10 years. Prior to that, Tom was a senior executive at Philips Medical Systems, after the sale of Intermagnetics General Corporation, where he held the roles of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, and President of Invivo Medical Devices. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Epstein is an experienced board member and senior executive with expertise in developing, manufacturing, and marketing medical devices. Over 25 years in medical imaging, he served as Chairman and CEO of Intermagnetics General Corporation (NASDAQ: IMGC), leading the company through significant growth and its $1.3 billion sale to Royal Philips. Glenn's prior board service includes Valley Proteins, Axion BioSystems, Kenall Manufacturing, X-Ray Optical Systems (all private), and Fuel Cell Energy (NASDAQ: FCEL).
Glenn H. Epstein
Mrs. Jarrard brings extensive executive leadership to the BioCircuit team, leveraging her experience as a Board Member at Axion, Lazard (NYSE: LAZ), Inspire Brands, Crawford & Co (NYSE: CRD.A), and Gimme. Prior to BioCircuit, she accumulated over 30 years of business expertise, including roles as Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and Managing Director of the GRA Venture Fund, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on commercializing university-originated research. She earned a Bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michelle Jarrard - CEO
Mr. Masters, founder of Masters Capital Management, entered the investment industry with a mission to align his personal and professional values through a conscience-first approach to investing. This strategy has proven financially and ethically rewarding, establishing him as an expert on the social role of markets and the human impact of speculation. Mike has conducted extensive research in philosophy, psychology, and behavioral finance, authoring and co-authoring white papers that examine the broader social implications of market activity. A graduate of the Univ. of Tennessee and former All-American swimmer, Mike currently serves on the boards of several charitable and private organizations.

Mr.Nahirny co-founded and served as a Managing Director of Bain Capital Ventures, gaining extensive experience through dozens of investments and board roles with private and public companies. Formerly, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company and worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of First Boston in New York and Tokyo. Currently, James is the Managing Partner of Alsora Capital, focusing on investments in private companies and funds, particularly in healthcare. A first-generation college graduate, he earned a BA magna cum laude from Yale University and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School.
